You may have been recently unemployed and looking online for a better business work at home career. Maybe you are in a job that may not be as secure as you once thought, due to this recent economic downturn? You will be able to build an income stream from multiple sources, creating a more diversified approach. This can provide more stability and could give you the funds needed to be able to market your opportunity if you are looking to earn the substantial 6 figure incomes that are being promoted all over the internet.

Make sure you understand how the compensation plans work and realize that there is always going to be someone that made some obscene amount in their first year. More than likely the odds are that wont be the average person. You should be realistic and expect to work hard to get to those type of results.

In almost all cases, make sure to consult with the team that you would be working with to make sure that you are in contact with one of the top teams in the company. You should also make sure the the parent companies that you choose have been around for at least 5 years and have an outstanding better business bureau rating and are preferably debt free.

Want to try my Turkey Lasagna style Enchiladas?

2 cups chopped cooked turkey
1 1/2 cups enchilada sauce
1 (4 oz) can diced green chile peppers
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
12 (6 in) corn tortillas
2 tablespoons chopped peeled red onions
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped black olives
16 oz of shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Coat a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with vegetable oil spray
In a medium bowl, combine turkey, 1/2 cup enchilada sauce, chile peppers
dried onion flakes, 1/4 cup olives and cilantro.


Warm tortillas in a microwave to soften for about 1 minute on high.
Spread a 1/4 cup on enchilada sauce on the base of the pan.
Lay 4 tortillas flat ripping a couple in half to cover the bottom.
Spread enchilada sauce to coat the tortillas.
Spread 1/2 of the Turkey mixture evenly over the tortillas
Repeat: Lay 4 tortillas flat ripping a couple in half to cover the turkey.
Spread enchilada sauce to coat the tortillas.
Spread 2nd 1/2 of the Turkey mixture evenly over the tortillas

Top with the last 4 tortillas and spread with remaining enchilada sauce.
Top off with red onions, tomatoes, remaining black olives and lastly
Cover with lots of cheddar cheese.
* add diced jalapenos if you want it hotter *
I spread the right half just under the cheese to make 1/2 hotter.

Bake for about 25 minutes and enjoy with 8 of your friends.

Too much information on the net?

Ok, I admit it. There is just a lot to learn online and many times lately I have had information overload. Should you quit your day job to start a home based business?

Should you quit your job and run out and start your own home business?
Here's the quick rule-of-thumb answer...

Never quit your JOB and go full time into your home business until you've exceeded your JOB income for at least three consecutive months.

That's the quick answer.

As we get into a deeper answer to your question, let's assume that you follow that rule. Your next concern is the amount of free time you have available to dedicate to your business.

Well in reality, time is RARELY an issue. It's simply a matter of working smarter and more efficiently, instead of longer.

The first thing we need to do is prioritize our activities so that we're only spending time on those which directly effect bottom line production.

And there are a lot of activities that go into building a network marketing business!

Now here's where I want to flip the switch upstairs for you today...
Look through all of the activities above and ask yourself the following question:

"What makes me money?"

The answer?

In the end, it's only one thing:

Processing completed customer orders and representative applications.
That's the only activity that makes you money, so it's the one activity that should dominate your business building time.
If you only had two hours per day to build a business, how much money would you be making if you spent all two hours processing new applications and taking orders?
Probably enough to go full time right!?

This is where you say, "But Dave, that's impossible ..."

Actually far from it. That's all I do and here's the process needed to make it happen...
Now in order to process orders consistently and at a relatively high rate each day,
3 things must take place:

1: You must build a pipeline of prospects whom you consistently contact over time, not personally, but through marketing which allows you to leverage your efforts.

2: You must build a relationship with those prospects, not personally, but through technology such as an auto-responder and video.

3: You must effectively present your goods and services to those prospects, show them the value of joining you as an expert and then sales are made and income is produced.

Now here's the deal...

All three of these activities can, and must, be achieved on autopilot if you want your production to sky rocket.
And that's the secret between full-time networkers who make the big bucks, and those who bust their rears all day long for years, barely turning a profit.

Part-timers continually buy leads or place ads to generate new prospects, but rarely put them into a long-term "pipeline."
Part-timers attempt to build relationships with their leads by talking to them on the phone numerous times.
I constantly see networkers contact a lead 3 to 5 times, spending 1 to 5 hours time trying to get a single prospect into the business.
Part-timers spend major bucks and most of their limited time buying, and then mailing expensive prospecting tools to their prospects.

The lesson to be learned here is that they are building their business without leverage.
They are spending too much of their time doing activities that DO NOT directly produce income.

In any business, the money has to come from somewhere. Whether it's from sales revenue or service charges or other transactions, the bitter business truth is that every dime in your pocket used to be in someone else's. It's not a bad thing. Just because you have money that used to be in someone else's possession doesn't mean that the former owner is now busting out the food stamps. Through however many transactions between however many parties, you received money, and they received either goods or services. And that's how an economy works.

On a less Macro scale, in the world of network and multi-level marketing this principle remains especially true and obvious. At the very core of your business, you make money through the sale of goods or services to someone. You yourself may never sell a thing and be living in a huge mansion, but odds are you're benefiting from the sale of something to someone. This system of making sales work for you is part of the appeal of MLM. You benefit from the work of others. The more people you have in your business, the more profit you are making.

But what's the name of the game?

Leads. The hottest commodity in any networking business. If you've got 'em, you've got it. If not, you're going to be working really, really hard to pay for that huge mansion on door-to-door sales, networking events and house parties. If you can get prospects, you can get money. In order to have downlines, you need MLM leads. In short, leads equal money.

And that's the MLM secret, which you already know, of course. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you can't make a fortune by yourself in this business. But just because you know that you need leads doesn't mean you can find them. And that's where so many MLM ventures fail. It is a commonly reported statistic that well over 90% of those involved in MLM or netwroking type businesses never make a profit. You can do what most MLMer's do (and fail): make a list of your friends and family (sound familiar?), pass out 'business op' fliers, spend lots of money and have social functions, beg, plead, scream, pass out, wake up, continue. Eventually, the strenuous effort takes its toll on your health and you leave the industry to do something a little more docile and less stressful on your health, like substitute teaching in an alternative high school.

Personally, I made a list of my 100 closest friends and family members, also made 100 calls a day to my "Hot Opportunity Seeker Leads", with limited success. How hard is it for you to get your friends to your opportunity meetings when they really weren't looking for an opportunity?

Five Characteristics of Success in MLM

Hey David here again. I've been in the network marketing industry for years, and I have seen a lot. Five Characteristics of Success in MLM, Part Deux

I'm excited for this blog entry, and I hope you are too. In the last entry, I talked about five characteristics I've seen in my experience that have led people to real success in the network marketing industry. In my opinion, you cannot be successful without them. With them, however, you are in a strong position to achieve your aspirations in this industry.

I want to explain to you how Internet Marketing Systems holds to these characteristics and will help you develop them yourself.

1. They used their own products or services and could explain why you should use them.

This is an easy one. Its easy to sell a product when you use it yourself. A personal guarantee based on experience is a powerful tool. As you use The Renegade Marketing System, you'll see the success, and as you tell others about it, they'll see your success and want to be a part of it as well.

There are more reasons to do business other than just to make money, right now. Patience is a virtue in any business. Think of the exponential growth model, which is shaped like a J. It starts out slow, when patience is required, then all of a sudden, boom! Exponential growth. That's how a network operates. From personal experience, I can tell you that the longer you are involved, the broader and more expansive your network will become, until soon you have cash coming in from the farthest reaches of the universe.

I am convinced that there are keys to success in life. Five of those keys are listed above. For some, they come naturally. For others, they have to be developed. Either way, they work. Einstein's Theories on using a Marketing System

here again with a interesting post... at least I think so ;-)

Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I like to look at it as banging your head against a wall and expecting to make money for it. Doesn't usually work too well. There is apparently quite the debate amongst bloggers as to whether this was originally said by Benjamin Franklin, or Einstein. Either way, its true. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is just not very smart any way you slice it.

The same thing applies to any business. The businesses that break the mold and do something new succeed. Those that continue with the status quo eventually are shown the Chapter 11 door. Horse carriage makers used to think that the whole automobile fad was just a phase that would pass. In a more modern example, huge, established airline companies are struggling, while new smaller companies are succeeding by focusing on customer satisfaction.

I know that is true, because when I first started in MLM, I made a list of my 100 closest friends and family members. I made 40 or so calls a day to my "Hot Opportunity Seeker Leads" I went to weekly Hype-filled "Rah!-Rah!" Opportunity Meetings, if anyone would go with me. How about those conference calls where they just say "stay positive it will happen, just keep at it" I attended many company training events. I spent Hundreds of dollars on leads. It wasn't quite as successful as I had hoped, to put it lightly.

The original businesses of network marketing began almost 100 years ago, with vitamin sales in the US. Since then, its has grown into an enormous and comprehensive industry with companies on all continents. (Yes, all continents. Somewhere, some scientist in Antarctica is pitching Monevie or Xango or something like that to one of his coworkers. You know it the are :-) Obviously, the industry hasn't always remained the same, and success has favored the new and innovative. You shouldn't remain the same either.

MLM may have made you a millionaire, and that method may have worked for you, it does for about 5% of the people in the entire industry. If so, stop reading and have a nice life, congratulations on your success. If not, you may be seeking a new way to break the mold of mediocrity and achieve that success that is captured by the few who possess the business courage and agility to do what it takes to get it.

Anyone who has ever bought into the dream of network/multi-level marketing knows that its not perfect, myself included. I became involved with it because I loved the idea of flexibilityI was excited by the comfort of working from homeI wanted to supplement my primary incomeI was interested in entrepreneurship. My name is David. Welcome to my network marketing blog. I'm from San Diego , and I've been involved in MLM for a number of years.
